Somali Ambassador Kani Torun who states that the activities of Cansuyu Assistance and Cooperation Association to end the famine in Somali deserves appreciation and continued as follows: “ The sacrificed animals and distributed foods during the Ramadan, foods distributed thousands of people in the food banks are very important to relieve the problems of the people of this country. It is a permanent solution for the people. Cansuyu deserves appreciation with its activities”
Cansuyu authorizers and volunteers have cut thousands of animals in 7 different regions of Somali during the Sacrifice Festival and visited Ambassador Torun who assessed the assistances of Cansuyu and of other organization performing this kind of acts in Somali. Saadet Party General Administration Committee members Dursun Ali Düzenli and Necmettin Çalışkanı were in the visit committee. Ambassador Kani said that Cansuyu has distributed food during Ramadan in Somali and also constructed a food bank and fed thousands of poor people and continued:” During the Ramadan Cansuyu Assistance and Cooperation Organization as well as many other relief agencies from Turkey have cut sacrificed animals and distributed the meats to the people in need in Mogadishu as well as Dadaab Camps in Kenya and 7 other regions of Somali. These sacrificed animals are very important for the animal owners in Somali, poor Somali people in need and for the economy of this country. “The sacrificed animals and distributed foods during the Ramadan, foods distributed thousands of people in the food banks are very important to relieve the problems of the people of this country. Turkey’s Somali Ambassador Kani Torun thanked to all donator citizens as well as Cansuyu Organization for their efforts and drew attention to the fact the volunteers of the relief agencies have been working with a great effort. They have come miles away from their families, friends and countries to be able to help these poor people in festival days and he continued: “This kind of international aid activities cannot be done with the sole efforts of the states. State and civil organizations should be in cooperation and so they can carry out these activities by increasing the volume and it becomes more organized and regular. The famine, drought and deaths are tried to be minimized by Cansuyu and many other relief agencies. These services represent the image, trustable and controverter face of Turkey. Thus our relief agencies are the pride of Turkey. Their aid activities and trustable images are appreciated by our state, nation and by all international aid organizations”.
