NAIROBI- Cansuyu Assistance and Cooperation Organization arrived to Kenya to be able to provide help to the people who have left their country Somali because of the drought that have been lived and moved to the camps where people are currently dying of famine.
Cansuyu assistance team which consists of 3 volunteers that left Turkey on Saturday arrived to Nairobi which is the capital of Kenya and started their activities. Committee met the official authorizes and they got information about the drought and the last condition in the camps. Especially Dadaab camp where people die of hunger and other camps and regions where people are in hunger will be visited to provide them assistance after following some other activities.
Ramazan Kaya who is one of Cansuyu volunteers and reporter of our journal, Genç ASKON Board Member Muhammed Ensar AkarçeÅŸme and Hüseyin Recep Akekmek reported that they would deliver the donations of benefactors to the needers in that region. They said that they have started a particular activity with General Secretary of partner association Young Muslim Association Abduk Hamid Slatch that they would complete the water well detection activities quite soon.
