DONATIONS ARE INSUFFICIENT
MollaoÄŸlu said that they have been working under very difficult conditions and that they have been distributing warm food to approximately 3 thousand of people every day until 4 am in the tent camps created in the border of Libya.
MollaoÄŸlu also said that each night almost 30-40 thousands of people are trespassing from two border gates of Libya to Tunis and most of them are foreign people. The assistance associations are quite few and far from being sufficient to be meet the needs of the refugees living in hard conditions. MollaoÄŸlu also draws attention to the insufficiency of the living conditions in the tent camps continued:” The weather is too cold and the tents are insufficient. While there is sever rain the people have to spend the night out under the rain. Thus there is urgent need of help in the region”.
MollaoÄŸlu speak with the refugees who say that some of the Libyan bus companies get big moneys per person to be able to bring them to Tunis border and that they are stopped on the road by Kaddafi soldier who take their precious goods and money. MaollaoÄŸlu says that they have seen with the UN authorizers that there are severe health issues in the tent camps; the need of baby food, milk, drug, and blanket and food shortage is in the maximum level.
