Cansuyu that continues its activities in the horn of Africa did not forget Niger that that was announced to be poorest country of the world.

Niger suffers from famine and drought 12 throughout the year and life is too hard. Cansuyu opened water wells to be able to facilitate that hard life and also it gives special importance to Niger during Ramadan and Sacrifice organizations.

Cansuyu teams continue working in the region hit by drought and in the same time they were Niger which is the poorest country of the world. The team made analysis in the capital Niamey and around it and shared the Ramadan joy with thousands of families. Our teams organized dinners and distributed provisions; they also delivered the charities entrusted to them.

Our teams were active in Harabounda, Bobiel, Djidah, Kouzatagvi and Gamkalle regions and they will continue their donations throughout Ramadan.

Cansuyu Organization Ankara representative Åžükrü Gök from Niger team was very touched while telling what he has lived there. Gök said that we did not what the hunger and thirstiness is and said: “As long as we have water in houses we will not know what thirstiness is as the people done. I saw how to be grateful to a piece of bread”.

Gök shared his experiences in Djidah region said that he was impressed by the sensitivity of the Muslim society in the regions and said:” people have made queues waiting for assistance. They started to cry when they saw us. We did not have vests on us. We were carrying the materials to be distributed. We asked why they have gone without having assistance. They thought that we were Christians. They did that even though they were hungry which affected us a lot. We made them turn back. We put our vests on. They made lines again but this time they were relieved. You could that relief from their faces”.

Cansuyu continues its activities in the region.
