DADAAB- Emergency food aid distribution has been started for the Somali refugees who had to leave their countries because of the drought and sheltered in to the UN camps in Kenya.The donations sent from Turkey via Cansuyu will continued to be distributed during 3 days in 3 different camps in Dadaab which is a town close to the border of Somali.
Cansuyu Assistance and Cooperation Organization team that hit the road last week from Turkey and arrived to Kenya in the beginning of this week could deliver the materials that are needed most after long and hard times.Kenya was in shortage of the food materials required especially for the children and our team has transferred any kind of food material to the camp area. The team shall continue the distribution into the camps under the control of UN.
The distribution of the materials is held without any problems thanks to the security forces; first distributions have been made within IFO-1 camp. Cansuyu team is working hard in IFO-2 camp in which there new refugees as well as thousands of children and women also deaths, will continue its activities in Deghaley camp and Algaderera camp. Cansuyu Assistance and Cooperation Organization aiming to reach 100 thousands of people until the end of Ramadan shall continue their activities continuously even after Ramadan.
