Deputy Chairman of Nigeria Islamic Education Association Dr. Abdullah Jibril came to Turkey for the “International 19th Muslim Societies Association Congress” to be held in Istanbul between 27 and 29 May visited Cansuyu General Center and met General Director Mustafa Köylü and Board Members.
Dr. Abdullah Jibril Oyekan has been informed about the activities of Cansuyu and he spoke about the activities of Cansuyu in Africa with compliments. He said the most important need of Nigeria is potable water and he wished the number of water wells to open in Nigeria increased. Oyeakan emphasized that the need of potable water in the maximum level and proposed Cansuyu to perform all of its Africa projects within Nigeria too.
Cansuyu General Director expressed his happiness of that visit and that they have been trying to bring water to the regions in shortage of water throughout Africa. Köylü said that Cansuyu has opened a lot of water wells not only in Africa but also in Asia with the support of benefactors and continued: “Water is life. The number of people and of the wars caused be the shortage of water has started to increase. This is a shame for all humanity. We will try to be water of the driest parts of Africa to be able to let the people hold the life in a stronger way. Köylü also stated that was not possible to struggle with the poverty and indigence in Africa only with food assistances. He explained that they would start farm projects in various parts of Africa and people will be able to produce their own food from their own gardens. The studies have been started in Ghana for agricultural farms and the project will be extended to other countries of Africa
