Ä°smail Aydın is one of thousand benefactors donating to Cansuyu. He lives in AltındaÄŸ county of Ankara. He has dedicated himself to assistance. Ä°smail Aydın who is a retired muezzin, has not lost anything at all from his energy despite being 70 years old. He says” I hope Allah gives me longer life so that I can help more”. This sentence proves the assistance motivation of Uncle Ismail. He is always known as a helpful person by his neighbors. His wife died 18 years ago. He has been living alone in Ankara since then. Ismail Aydın says that everything material stays in the world that’s why he says “I eat as much as my stomach can get, I donate the rest”. Aydın does not have revenue except retirement pension and rental income and he says” I hope had more means so I could help even more”
He has donated to Cansuyu during Ramadan and Sacrifice Periods to be delivered to people in need; he did not forget “Water well project” either. The water well he has dedicated to himself, his wife and daughter has been opened in Cameroon. The images of the opened water well made him have emotional moment. He donated water well for his mother and father and sister. The second water well has been opened to service in Chad. Seeing these waters wells is the biggest happiness for him.
Ismail Aydın donates to Cansuyu in every occasion and he learnt about water wells project while watching TV at his daughter in Istanbul. He was sad that he could not contribute to that project until then and contacted Cansuyu to donate a water well.
Uncle Ismail says that he is thrilled of happiness when he imagines that the people in need in Africa will use the water coming from water well opened with his donations and he prays for Cansuyu which let him live that happiness and says: “may Allah blesses you”.
71 water wells in Africa
Cansuyu brought water to 20 dry regions more within the scope of the project regarding Africa. With the last wells, total number of the water wells has reached up to 71. The regions where people die of dryness and drought have clean and potable water thanks to this sacred project. Cansuyu opened wells in Logme, Mblame, Moukta, Woulkıo Kale, Kagle, Larıskı, Amfarah, Marafıne, Daagga Village Kousseri regions of Cameroonand Khaloua Charı40, Khaloua Djalabıe, Rıdına II, Amrıguebe, Ndjarı Chadar3, Hıle Houdjaj, Ndjarı Blama Tom, Souk Baggar, Masdjıd Charı30, Dıguel III regions of Chad which let the Africans have smile on their faces
Wells are named with the names of the donators
Each water well opened with the donations of the Turkish benefactors have been called with the names of the benefactors. The deepness of the wells varies from 40 to 60 meters and they were opened with prayers. The African people can use health water in a secure way and they are far from the diseases such as cholera and diarrhea caused by the shortage of water.
