Sacrifice Brotherhood in Ethiopia
Anatolia’s helping hand arrived to Ethiopian Muslims who have been struggling with intense pressures since a few months. Cansuyu committee passed the Sacrifice Festival with the Muslims that have been under a lot of difficulties because of the isolation operation applied to the Muslims of the country, distributed the donated sacrificial.
Cansuyu committee went to Ethiopia last week for Sacrifice Festival and have cut sacrificed animals in three different regions of Ethiopia and delivered them to Muslims in need. Cansuyu team was with their brothers during Sacrifice Festival reminded the conscious of being a Muslim society once again.
Almost the entire populations of Ethiopia is Muslim and Cansuyu committee distributed the donated sacrificed with a great effort to the Ogedan Regions that are called Adama and Ethiopia’s Somali and gave a little smile to the Muslims of this sufferer region. During the 2012 Sacrifice Organization the conscious of being Muslim society have been remembered once again the joy of Festival has been shared with the Muslim society of the country.
SACRIFICE EXCITEMENT IN THE MADRASAHS OF ETHIOPIA
Cansuyu Coordinator and 2012 Sacrifice Organizer Ismail Mansur Ozdemir reminded the importance of the festival tradition in the poor regions of Muslim world and emphasized that they have delivered the entrusted sacrificed animals to the sufferers and poor people of this region. He said that the people living in very difficult conditions had the opportunity have a sigh of relief with these organizations and that their activities would continue.
Özdemir: “ As Cansuyu volunteers we have cut sacrificed animals of helpful Anatolia people in 3 different regions of Ethiopia and delivered them to the people in need. Madrasah students, Muslims and poor people have been given sacrificed animal meat in the cutting made in the capital Addis Ababa. The sacrificed animal’s meats have been given to the Muslim people of the region. The excitement of the festival has motivated the people of the region that have started to choose Christianity to return Islam.
BROTHERHOOD FEELINGS IN THE OCCUPIED LANDS
Ozdemir said that they have organized Sacrifice organization in Ogedan Region which is the occupied land of Ethiopia and that the people suffering from dryness need more humanitarian aid. He continued: “Muslim people in the Ciciga which is the capital of Ethiopia’s Somali and its villages have met White Muslims for the first time in their lives. The sacrifice organization was like a big feast and the people of the region have been happy with the feeling of being a part of Muslim society”. The assistances made to this region from Turkey is important for the Muslims of the region as well as the colonist mentalities. The activities of Turkey for this region should be increased every single day.
PROTESTS MARKED THE FESTIVAL PRAYING
The protests marked the festival praying of Addis Ababa which is the capital of Ethiopia. Almost 3 million people who were protesting recently increased pressures and cruelties have prayed together and showed yellow card to the government. They have given the last warning to the government after the praying. Before the festival, the government has released 10 Muslim leaders to enlighten the protests to be made by the Muslims of the country.
