Pankisi Valley that is in Chechnya-Georgia border was one of the stations of the aid mobilization Cansuyu started in Sacrifice Festival. Cansuyu team sacrificed the animals with the Checheny people that have escaped from Chechnya under the occupation of Russia and sheltered into the Pankisi valley and distributed donations to poor people and orphan children.

Cansuyu teams have sacrificed animals that could be sufficient all of the Chechen refugees that could not return their countries because of the ongoing occupation of Russia and try to live in very difficult condition in Pankisi Valley. Cansuyu team have sacrificed almost 198 ovine for 3000 families and 1500 Chechen refugees and other needers and all families in Pankisi Valley had meat in their homes. The families having sacrificed meats thanked to Turkish nation who did not forget them.

Where is Pankisi?

Pankisi is a 34 km of valley lying from the Barbola Mountain in the northern east part of Georgia and all long Alazani rivers. Pankisi Valley was known for unknown murders and kidnapping events. It is a passage for some, for other it is a throat or a valley. Pankisi is in the border of Georgia and Chechnya is a unique geographical and strategically place situated 150 km northern east of Tbilisi

Pankisi where Georgia does not have a lot of public power accommodates the Cysts who are included in Vaynagh group which are Chechen and Ingush people. Cysts use their maternal languages among each other. Education language in the valley is Georgian. Even though they are minority in Georgia there is not resistance not to learn Georgian language.
