Cansuyu continues its Ramadan activities with its “Spare a place for the in your table” slogan and it brought donations to Pakistan that is fighting with hunger and poverty as well as the conflicts and natural disasters. Cansuyu distributed food to the refugees escaped from the conflicts in Swat Valley and sheltered into the camps in Madran city and shared the richness of Ramadan with the needers in Pakistan

Cansuyu that has started its Ramadan assistances from Pakistan has distributed to Pakistanis who are trying to live in very difficult conditions within the camps in Madran city. Cansuyu reached to the regions by the beginning of Ramada, has organized a dinner for the Pakistanis who had to move to the Jelali and Sheyh Yasin refugee camps in Madran after escaping from the Swat Valley and become refugees in their own countries. By the beginning of the conflicts in Swat Valley Cansuyu started its assistance activities and shared the abundance of Ramadan with the poor, miserable and disaster victims of Pakistan.

After the flood disaster in Madran city hundreds of people become homeless and hundreds of animals have died. Cansuyu team have seen these regions and distributed food to disaster victims in that region.

Bad living conditions threat the lives of people

Cansuyu Organization General Secretary Muhammet Polat gave information about the lives and assistance activities in Pakistan said that 1.5 million people had to leave their hometowns as a result of the conflicts lived in Swat Valley. Almost 1, 5 million Pakistanis have sheltered to the camps in Madran city and become refugees in their own countries; the people living in these camps are in serious threat because of the bad living conditions. The camps with bad infrastructure has become the reason of contagious disease because of the shortage of water and since the foods could not be cleaned diarrhea cases have started to increase a lot recently. Besides, the shortage of water caused the skin diseases. Polat said that the people living there are trying to live with the threat of death at any moment.

Muhammet Polat who states that they distribute food to the refugees living in the difficult conditions, said that they have shared the Ramadan jot with their Pakistani brothers by performing the dinner organizations. Polat also said that they distributed food to the regions hit by flood disasters in Madran and that they do their best to be able to overcome the difficulties in Pakistan.
